Terms of service

AdsLab Co is a trading name used by a sole trader based in Porto, Portugal. Tax details appear on every invoice. Contact ana@adslabco.com.

Short form video and image advertising creative, built digitally from material you supply. Nothing is filmed. No product sample is required and no performer is engaged. Every pack includes named angles and full scripts before production, the finished pieces, and one round of changes before you approve them.

Edition €700, five pieces, bought once. Signature €1,500 a month, twelve pieces, delivered in weekly batches. Private from €2,200 a month, twenty or more, terms agreed in writing first. Prices exclude VAT. Payment is taken in full before work begins, processed by Stripe. We never see or store card details. Express delivery costs 40% more: €980 on Edition, €2,100 on the first Signature batch.

After payment you receive a detailed brief. Production cannot begin until it is submitted with your product photographs, packaging, colours and typography. You confirm you own or are licensed to use everything you send, and you are responsible for the accuracy of any claim you ask us to make. If your images are not usable we will tell you within two working days and you may cancel for a full refund, provided no script has been approved.

Working days, Portuguese public holidays excluded. Angles and scripts in 48 hours from the brief, 24 on express. Production five working days from your approval of the scripts, 72 hours on express. The clock starts at your approval, not at your payment. Time spent waiting for you is never counted, and the round of changes sits outside the delivery period. If we miss the period for reasons within our control you may have the express supplement refunded, or 20% of the pack price as credit.

Before production you may rewrite the scripts, drop an angle or ask for another, as many times as needed, at no cost. Nothing is produced until you approve the scripts in writing. When the finished pieces are delivered you have one round of changes before approving them. That round covers cuts and pacing, the order of shots, on screen text and captions, music and sound levels, and colour adjustments. On Signature, one round per weekly batch. Changes must reach us within 10 working days of delivery; after that the pieces are treated as approved. A new angle, a new script or a new piece after approval is new work, quoted first. Corrections are made within the round of changes included in each delivery.

Signature renews monthly, no minimum term, cancel any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid month. You keep everything delivered that month and any batch in production is completed. We do not refund part of a month and do not carry undelivered pieces into an unpaid month unless the delay was ours. We may decline to renew with one month's notice, and may decline a brief that asks us to make a claim we believe untrue or unlawful, refunding the unused part.

Before a script is approved, cancel for a full refund. Once you approve a script, production begins at your request and the work becomes personalised, so it can no longer be refunded. If you buy as a consumer rather than for a business, EU law gives you 14 days to withdraw. By approving a script you expressly ask us to begin within that period and acknowledge you lose the right of withdrawal once the work is complete.

We work with a limited number of brands at a time. If no slot is free for the week you want we will say so before taking payment. A Private engagement may occupy more than one slot.

We are liable for loss we cause that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms. Our total liability for any pack is limited to what you paid for it, and on a subscription to the amount paid in the preceding three months. We are not liable for the commercial performance of any piece, for decisions you take on it, for loss of profit, revenue or goodwill, or for any consequence of a claim you asked us to make. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Portuguese law applies and the courts of Porto have jurisdiction, without affecting a consumer's right to sue where they live. If a clause is unenforceable the rest still applies. The version that governs your purchase is the one published on the day you bought. Invoices are issued through software certified by the Portuguese tax authority and carry ATCUD and a QR code. Effective September 2026.
